The Laramie Vision Clinic is proud to have been taking care of sight and sore eyes in Historic Downtown Laramie since 2012. As a member of a family of vision clinics that was first established in 1973 in Wyoming, the Laramie Vision Clinic is a part of the largest independent Optometry practice in the state, putting that expertise to work for patients every day.
We were sad to lose our original century-old clinic building in 2014 to a devastating fire which spread from a neighboring apartment. We have always embraced the ‘finish-what-you-start’ Wyoming Cowboy Spirit and resolved to rebuild that lost downtown building in a style fitting its historic location. In spite of unforeseen hardships and delays, we are excited to see our new building arise again, now better than ever! The incredible outpouring of support by caring members of the community during this endeavor has been inspiring and humbling.
We specialize in providing personalized eye care in a friendly and comfortable setting. Because trusting your vision to us is not something we take lightly, we maintain our clinic locations with technologically advanced equipment. Our doctors have graduated with honors from some of the best educational institutions in the nation and directly educate optometry student externs and family practice physicians in our advanced clinical setting. Our doctors are specially qualified to address visual needs from individualized contact lens fitting and custom progressive bifocals to managing cataracts, dry eye disease and macular degeneration; we are dedicated to preserving and enhancing vision in infants to adults, for a lifetime!
The Laramie Vision Clinic is available when you and your family need us most. Dr. Garrett Howell is a resident of Laramie and is on-call 24 hours for eye infections, eye injuries or sudden loss of vision. There’s no need for lengthy and painful visits to the ER; take your eyes to the eye experts!
We value integrity, compassion, competence and commitment, and translate that daily to our patients. We know eyes. So whether you need glasses or contact lenses, suffer from dry eye or any other eye disease, or just curious if laser vision correction is right for you, our family of vision clinics is here for you!
